General Anime/Manga Discussion

Might aswell get started on remaking the main topics from the old forum, so here's the first one.

Discuss general things pertaining to Anime/Manga here.

For any new members we get, on the IC we had a episode by episode discussion going. At the moment we are reviewing Outlaw Star episode by Episode. We're at episode 12 so feel free to join in. Also, the next animes we are reviewing are Fairy Tail and Letter Bee when the first episodes aire within the next month or so.

I'll Be In Charge of the Dicussions, So Holler At Me about all things pertaining to the dicussions, also, if the new members wish, I'll even post a thread with all of the previous vids, though they can easily find em on YouTube like I did.

Im in Pandora hearts mode now that show has got me! any body else seen or heard of it

I watched the first 3/4 eps but i gave it up. It was a good show but i had too much going on at the time to keep up with it :/

The only anime I ever watched, Dragonball and dragonball z is the GOAT, I dont count GT because its a piece of shit excluding the last 10 episodes and even the creator of DB and DBZ says it doesnt exist in the storyline to him

DBZ is cool and it's legendary but as you'd know if you posted in the old Animania and saw the argument i had about it, it's not GOAT.

Lol! Well when you have nothing else to compare it to i suppose that happens, there's a whole heap of brilliant anime out there to watch though.

I just like comparing it to the first series, The little things are enough for me to stick around with it

I just watched the first episode of Welcome to the N.H.K. It was....interesting, to say the least. The whole conspiracy thing is cool and his talking appliances when he starts going crazy is funny.

Has anyone else seen this? I noticed something funny that i'm wondering if others picked up on. After Satou imagines Misaki naked, you can see a poster on his wall behind him with a girl in her underwear who looks EXACTLY like Misaki, i found that quite hilarious.

hey Books been watchin Bakura ga ita, its pretty good so far i like the art, and the story is really realistic, seems like some shit i went through in highschool,I can relate to alot of it props!

That's the main reason i hold the series in such high regard. Most animes have characters who are really eccentric in their personalties and they get into impossible situations but Bokura has really natural characters and the shit they go through and how they react to it is soooo real, the whole show is like a real teenage relationship.

This forum is thriving i love it

My favorite is One Piece they have the best movies out of any anime series but i'm watching Natsume Yuujinchou right now, kinda different not a lot of action and more of a slice of life/philsophical type

One Piece is also my favorite xD although i've never peeped the movies.

Kaizoku, In my opinion, has the best fansub of One Piece. They're kinda slow tho. I think they're up around the 250's episode wise, and I know they have at least seven movies.
