If I remember correctly it's Profile >> Preferences, and you can click "No" for new notifications.

Are you guys considering a creation of subforums? Having a strictly hip-hop forum is cool but there are some Reason posters like myself that migrate to the Arcade, Cheap Seats, and the GnS also.
